It was a beautiful Fall day that welcomed the players to the 4th Annual Sanford/Springvale Chamber of Commerce “Robert (Bob) L’Heureux” Golf Tournament on September 23rd at Pine Hollow Little Par 3. A total of 6 teams from area businesses left the office early to network and enjoy some friendly competition on the greens.
The golf tournament was in Shotgun format with teams starting at staggered holes with a shotgun start at noon.
Team Lakeside Sports Marina (Rolland Cote/Steve McCarn/Bobby Gauthier/Ray Robichaud) stole a repeat win from Team Edward Jones, edging past by 2 shots for the win. The score was a repeat of last year’s tournament – 39 for the winning team and 41 for second place.
The battle for 3rd place was equally close with Team RÖHM America shooting just 2 under Partners Bank at 48 to 50.
