We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to host the annual Pine Hollow Little Par 3 Golf Tournament. After a frosty morning the previous day, the sun was out and temperatures soared into the 60’s as 19 players took to the greens to enjoy a challenging game of golf. Competition was fierce, but fun and Sam Mercier proved his mettle on the course winning the coveted trophy.
This year’s competition was ‘Stroke Play’ as players participated in four rounds of golf for a total of 72 holes. Our winner completed the tournament with just 6 strokes over par. Owner, Mark L’Heureux, says he creates a more challenging course for these events (giving the course an edge over the players!).
Thanks to all who came out to participate and be sure to mark your calendars for next year’s event which will be held the 3rd Saturday in October once again, but the competition will be ‘Match Play’.
If you missed the championship game, there’s still time to enjoy a round or two of golf before we shut down for the season. Get your golf swings in before the snow flies!
