Well, a long-awaited summer day arrived just in time for the 1st Annual Sanford/Springvale Chamber of Commerce “Robert (Bob) L’Heureux” Golf Tournament on June 28th at Pine Hollow Little Par 3. A total of 52 players in teams of four tested their mettle against the course and each other.
This year’s competition was ‘Match Play’ as all teams lined up at different holes with a shotgun start at noon. The competition was neck and neck with the top two teams finishing within one stroke of each other.
Congratulations goes to the winning team of Willie Dumont / Sean Dumont / Mike Ramini / Joe Divincenzo coming in at 8 under par with a score of 46. Right on their heels in second place was Steve L’Heureux / Shane L’Heureux / Mark Beaulie / Ed Bailey with a score of 47.
A special shout-out to Stella Dumont of the Town Squire Realty team who pulled off a hole-in-one on Hole #5. Congratulations!
