Perfect Day for the Sweetser Charity Golf Scramble
Sweetser’s ‘Chipping Fore a Cause’ Charity Golf Tournament was held on June 13th and enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day for the event. Eleven teams took to the green in a friendly competition to benefit the Sweetser foundation’s work in providing mental health and recovery services in our community.
Returning champs Nate Cobb, Mike Ramini, and Sean & Willie Dumont claimed victory at 1 under par for the course.
Team “Sanford Country Club” came in second at 46, just besting five other teams within 1 to 3 points in a close battle for that spot.
After finishing the course, teams headed to the putting green out front to take part in a putting contest.
There was also a ‘Closest to the Pin’ contest at hole 18 to put folks’ drives to the test. Simon Lanigan captured the win at 7′ 9″.
There were some great raffle prizes as well (check out the photos below) – thanks to all who donated!
