Once the clocks roll back and it starts to get darker earlier, you know it’s only a matter of time before golf season comes to a close. As the colder temperatures move in and the days grow shorter, Pine Hollow Little Par 3 officially closed for the season after the last ball landed in the hole on November 08, 2025.

Highlights from the 2025 Golf Season

Although we were spared the winter-like storms from last spring, we had a colder than normal start to the season with weekends being consistently rainy.

Eventually, we moved into better weather and even got to enjoy the sight of a beautiful rainbow over the course (other parts of Sanford had rain while we stayed dry and just got to enjoy the after-effects!).

Sweetser Tournament

Pine Hollow Little Par 3 was honored to host “Chipping for a Cause” a charity golf tournament put on by Sweetser on June 21st – the first sunny Saturday in about 13 weeks!

A total of 14 teams came out to support the cause and enjoy some friendly competition, including a putting contest.

Golf Championship

The Annual Pine Hollow Little Par 3 Golf Championship enjoyed a beautiful sunny day on October 18th as 15 players took to the course for Match Play competition.

This year our 5-peat champion was almost unseated as Rocky St. Jean matched his prowess and forced a sudden death match. However, the intrepid Mike Ramini was able to prevail in the 4th round and claim another victory.

Thank You!

Thanks to all who came out to enjoy our little par 3 course this season. We hope you were challenged by the course, but had a great experience at the same time.

If this was your first visit, we hope to see you again next year. For our regulars, thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you again next season.

Stay safe and healthy over the long winter months and be sure to check back in the spring for our opening date (we’re still holding out hope for an April opening). wink
